Ajanta and Ellora Caves tour: Mumbai – Aurangabad – Ellora Caves – Aurangabad – Ajanta Caves – Aurangabad – Mumbai
Day 1: Arrival at Mumbai followed by sightseeing of the city.
After your arrival at Mumbai, one of the representatives of Corners of Earth shall meet you and take you to your hotel. After hotel check-in at Mumbai, you can spend the rest of the day on your own. If you want to go out for a sightseeing tour of the Mumbai city, we can arrange the same. Mumbai is a beautiful developed city located in the Indian state of Maharashtra. Often nicknamed as “The Financial Capital of India”, Mumbai is also home to the Bollywood industry. There are a lot of places to visit in Mumbai. Based on the availability of time, we can visit the Gateway of India, Marine Drive, Prince of Wales Museum, Shree Siddhivinayak Temple, Haji Ali Dargah, etc. The sunset view from the Marine Drive shouldn’t be missed. After the day’s we will drop you back at your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Mumbai to Aurangabad.
After completing breakfast, we will proceed towards Aurangabad. Named after the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb, Aurangabad is a popular tourism hub with many historical monuments in and around the city. The place is also home to the Ajanta and Ellora Caves. After reaching Aurangabad, we will take you to your hotel. After hotel check-in at Aurangabad, you can spend the rest of the day on your own. Overnight stay at Aurangabad.
Day 3: Sightseeing of Aurangabad.
This day is reserved for your sightseeing tour in and around Aurangabad. After breakfast, we will take you to the Ellora Caves which is also a World Heritage Site known for its large rock cut caves. Artworks of Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism can be seen on the walls of the caves. After the sightseeing of the Ellora Caves, we will visit Daulatabad Fort and Bibi ka Maqbara. After the day’s trip, we will drop you at your hotel in Aurangabad for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Aurangabad to Ajanta Caves and back.
After breakfast, we will take you to the Ajanta Caves situated at a distance of 100 km from the Aurangabad city. Ajanta Caves, a World Heritage Site is also famous for its rock cut caves and architectures. After the trip, we will drop you back at your hotel in Aurangabad for an overnight stay.
Day 5: Aurangabad to Mumbai.
This will be the last day of your trip and we will drop you at your desired location in Mumbai for your onward journey. Over here, your memorable Ajanta and Ellora tour with Corners of Earth shall end.
